The landlocked Grand Valley has gotten wet and wild since May 2018 when Victor and Kodi Imondi launched Imondi Wake Zone. These passionate Colorado natives and state and national competitive wakeboard champions were eager to introduce their wakeboard cable park, adding another extreme sport to the Western Slope.

The two cable systems allow beginner and experienced participants to enjoy towed-watersports such as wakeboarding and kneeboarding without the need for a boat. Modeled after waterskiing, snowboarding and surfing techniques, wakeboarding uses a thin, rectangular board mounted with shoe-like bindings.

Imondi Wake Zone also offers dock yoga, paddleboarding and a brand new aqua park — the Grand Valley’s floating playground. A series of inflatable jumping pillows, bouncers and runways features ramps, jumps, ladders, two slides and a trampoline, which offers fun for kids ages six and older.

Come for the day, beat the heat and enjoy the variety of watersports under the watch and safety of lifeguards. Equipment for all activities, including life jackets and helmets, are available at the pro shop for rent or purchase. For more information, visit imondiwakezone.com
