Elemental Wellness Shop: Blending Plant Wisdom + Personal Healing To Simplify Modern Wellness

Every product from Elemental Wellness Shop is crafted to inspire a return to the slower, more rhythmic ways of living. Humans come from a long heritage of plant wisdom, where people relied on the earth to maintain health and balance. Rebecca Paisley DeLia, Ayurvedic practitioner and herbalist, is the founder and owner of Elemental Wellness Shop in Rifle, where each item is made by hand in small batches. Although there is currently no storefront, she partners with retailers across the Grand Valley to offer organically sourced, plant-based and handmade body care, herbal teas, tinctures, probiotic skincare, essential oils, yoga mat cleaners, castor oil packs, tooth powder and more.

Elemental Wellness Shop prioritizes organic, sustainably harvested ingredients. The herbs are thoughtfully selected for their potency and traditional use. When possible, DeLia incorporates locally grown and sourced ingredients. The lavender flowers, hot peppers and mushroom powders are all sourced from Western Colorado. All of the packaging is either fully recyclable or compostable.

THE STORY BEHIND THE SHOP

DeLia’s mission is to help people reconnect with their bodies in a way that feels simple, supportive and sustainable. “Every product is created from the lens: not to override the body, but to support it,” she says.

The backbone of the brand is the belief that the body is designed to heal when it’s truly understood. This is personal to DeLia because as a teenager and young adult, she struggled with heroin addiction along with mental and physical health challenges. After DeLia found sobriety and began rebuilding her life, she still struggled in her body.

“The deeper I dug, the more I realized my mind and body weren’t broken — it had just never been truly supported,” DeLia shares. “Everything I experienced — stress, substance use, emotional trauma — it all had an impact, and my body was still trying to process and communicate that.”

DeLia dug deep. She nourished and learned about herself through meditation, yoga and connecting with nature. Her journey led to a life living off the land. She was gardening, canning and preserving most of her own food when she began making soap in 2017. What began as a few bars of soap for her home quickly turned into custom requests from friends and family. This led her to incorporate herbalism into her daily life and to develop a desire to create cleaner, non-toxic necessary products for herself and loved ones. Elemental Wellness Shop was later established in 2022.

REAL PEOPLE, REAL NEEDS

Over time, new products emerged through DeLia’s work as a private health coach and after seeing gaps in the wellness market. When multiple clients experience the same struggle or ask for specific support, it often sparks the creation of something new. DeLia says her offerings have and will continue to grow this way: organically, guided by real needs from real people.

“I’m not interested in overcomplicating wellness,” DeLia says. Every product is designed to be both rooted in tradition and easy to integrate into a daily routine, so people can stay consistent and see results.

“Whether it’s candles that support mindfulness, yoga mat cleaners that enhance a yoga practice, herbal blends that nourish the body or skincare that supports rather than depletes, everything is designed to make these practices accessible in a modern routine,” DeLia emphasizes.

SUMMER WELLNESS ESSENTIALS

Summer in Western Colorado brings heat, sun exposure, travel and shifts in routine. DeLia recommends investing in products that support the body during the season.

DeLia says customers often reach for the All Natural Bug Spray and Pit Paste — a natural deodorant — to help keep the skin protected, balanced and smelling fresh through every outdoor adventure. She also recommends supporting the nervous system during travel, social activity or shifts in routine with the Chill Out Herbal Tincture and the Stay Well Herbal Tincture.

Elemental Wellness Shop also aims to educate and empower through herbal workshops across the region. This is a hands-on invitation to reconnect with ancient traditions.

“Remember that this knowledge isn’t out of reach, but something we can all learn, practice and integrate into our daily lives,” DeLia says. “It’s not just about using a product. It’s about knowing nature holds all that we need and that taking care of the body can feel simple.”
